EMERGENCY CHILDCARE

Emergency Childcare will be offered if ISD 186 moves to Hybrid or Distance Learning and will be available to Tier 1 essential personnel who need care.  
If you/your child or any family member are in quarantine due to COVID-19 symptoms/possible exposure, child CANNOT attend Emergency Childcare.

EMERGENCY CHILDCARE is available only to Tier 1 Essential Personnel
Tier 1 workers = verification required
  • Healthcare and public health
  • Law enforcement, public safety and first responders
  • Food and agriculture
  • Judicial Branch (essential services)
  • National Guard (activated under a Governor Executive Order)
  • Educators in pre-K through grade 12 settings
  • School staff caring for children of critical workers
  • Child care and school-age care providers 
You must complete commitment forms for the EMERGENCY CHILDCARE PROGRAM:  EMERGENCY CHILDCARE COMMITMENT FORMS

Students MUST bring the following items to Emergency Childcare 
  • Water Bottle (labeled)
  • Clothing to go outside 
  • Extra pair of clothes (just in case)
  • Chromebook (charged)  .
